PROJECT:   The ecology underpinning conservation management of rare freshwater fishes.

A Definition of a unit of conservation importance for more rare fish in the IBIS programme area.  The Habitats (and species) directive; annex II and annex IV.

Nature conservation (Scotland) Act 2004.
B Determination of the efficacy of current conservation strategies of wild fish in the IBIS programme area.
C Identification of specific ecological constraints on rare freshwater fishes of high conservation status in the IBIS programme area.
D Recommendations for improving conservation policy and management for rare fish in the programme area.
E Further tools to be specified.
